Terms of Service
Last updated: November 4, 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Dev Run, including the Dev Run website, applications, APIs, feeds, tools, and related features (the “Service”).
Dev Run is operated by Akhil Samudrala, operating as Dev Run.
By creating an account, logging in, posting, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to use the Service under applicable Indian law and the laws of your jurisdiction.
If you use Dev Run on behalf of an organisation, college club, or team, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms on its behalf.
3. Accounts and security
You may sign in using a supported third-party account, such as GitHub or another provider we enable. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials, all activity that occurs through your account, any content posted using your account or authorised tools, and promptly reporting unauthorised access.
We may suspend or restrict an account if we reasonably believe it has been compromised, misused, or used in breach of these Terms.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you submit to Dev Run, including posts, code snippets, comments, images, project descriptions, and profile information (“User Content”). You are solely responsible for your User Content and confirm that you own or have the necessary rights to post it, it does not violate any law or third-party right, and if it includes another person’s work you have permission or a legal basis to share it.
You grant Dev Run a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt, format, display, publish, distribute, and moderate your User Content solely to operate, improve, secure, and promote the Service. This licence ends when you delete the relevant content, except where copies are retained in backups, caches, replies, or where retention is required by law.
Public User Content may be visible, copied, or reused by other users and third parties. Do not post anything you are not comfortable making public.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use Dev Run to break any applicable law; harass, threaten, stalk, defame, or abuse anyone; post hateful, violent, sexually explicit, or sexually exploitative content; sexualise, exploit, groom, or endanger minors; share another person’s private information without consent; impersonate any person or organisation; infringe intellectual-property or confidentiality rights; post spam, scams, phishing links, malware, or misleading material; post engagement bait or repetitive low-effort content; present AI-generated content as entirely your own without disclosure; drop unrelated promotional links or repeated self-promotion; scrape or collect data outside an authorised API; use Dev Run data to train AI models without our written permission; probe, overload, or attack the Service’s security; or do anything else we reasonably consider harmful to users or the Service.
We may remove content, limit features, issue timeouts, suspend accounts, or permanently ban accounts for violations.
6. Child safety
Dev Run has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. You must not create, upload, share, request, store, or link to child sexual abuse material, including drawn, edited, or AI-generated depictions of minors. You must not groom, sexually solicit, threaten, or exploit any person under 18.
Report child-safety concerns by emailing devrun.in@gmail.com. Do not send copies of suspected illegal imagery. If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
We will remove violating content, permanently ban responsible accounts, and report matters to applicable law-enforcement or child-protection authorities where required.
7. Moderation and enforcement
We may, at our discretion, remove or restrict content, add warning labels, limit posting or visibility, suspend or terminate accounts, refuse future registration from a banned identity, and cooperate with valid legal requests. Where reasonably possible we will tell you why action was taken, but we do not guarantee prior notice, an explanation, or restoration of content.
8. Third-party services
Dev Run may rely on third-party services such as GitHub, hosting providers, email providers, analytics tools, and AI providers. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their availability, security, accuracy, terms, or actions. Dev Run is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by GitHub, Inc. GitHub is a trademark of GitHub, Inc.
9. AI features
If Dev Run uses automated systems or AI, their output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. You are responsible for reviewing anything you publish or rely on. You must disclose when a post is substantially generated by AI.
10. Intellectual property
Except for User Content, Dev Run owns or licenses all rights in the Service, including its name, logo, design, software, code, APIs, documentation, and content. These Terms give you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Dev Run for its intended purpose. You receive no ownership rights in Dev Run.
11. Availability and changes
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that Dev Run will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that content will be retained. We may modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may update these Terms; material changes will be communicated through the Service or email. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Disclaimer and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law: Dev Run disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability arising from the Service is limited to the maximum extent permitted by Indian law. You are responsible for disputes with other users or third parties. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under Indian law.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dev Run and its operator from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and reasonable legal costs arising from your User Content, your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
14. Termination
You may stop using Dev Run and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you breach these Terms, create legal risk, or misuse the Service. Sections relating to User Content, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, governing law, and general terms survive termination.
15. Governing law
